What Do You Do?
“What do you do?”
Not too long ago, I’d struggle to answer; even to say the words, “I’m a coach.” I’d try so hard to sound like a seasoned professional – that “fake it, til you make it” became my mantra. Why – because for more than 25 years, I was a business owner and loved what I did. Most of all, it was who I was.
Defined by Our Work
The fact is we live in a world where we are defined almost entirely by our work. While this can be hugely inspiring for people who are happily employed.
However for many of us, that’s not true.
The Years Pass, Life Happens, Careers Change and We Evolve
You want more than a job or title; you want meaningful work or significance. You want to be passionate about what you do. Maybe create that next chapter.
But, the voice in your head says, “that’s not realistic.” So you focus more on what you did and less on who you want to become.
You seek advice from colleagues, friends and family.
You Search for a Sign

“Know what sparks the light in you. Then use that light to illuminate the world.” – Oprah Winfrey

What will spark the light in you?
If you are in doubt – then I invite you to join a small group of professionals on September 30th, for our fall coaching circle.
