An Eye of Hurricane Sandy
I live in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, and we are awaiting the arrival of Sandy. All day the rain steadily falls while the wind is now kicking up speed. I tend to view weather forecasts as a constant in our overly sensationalized media world and opt to let Mother Nature’s storm be.
Although, I am not in “the eye of this storm.” I have survived various storms in life. And sometimes, the storm can awaken you to deeply appreciate the smallest things in life amongst the greatest devastation’s of loss.
“Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.”
– Lao-Tzu
What if . . . we can be content with what we have? Imagine the ripple . . .
Be safe.
